Co-op Delivery Service

What is it?

The Co-op delivery service program is meant to better serve the members of our community who are unable to shop at the store due to age or disability.   Seniors and disabled persons will be able to call in their orders on Wednesday mornings from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., and the Co-op staff will deliver their groceries that afternoon or evening.

Terms and Conditions:

The delivery service program is intended for those with a physical disability that prevents them from getting to or around the store, not for temporary inconveniences.  In accordance with the American Disability Act (ADA), disability is defined as “a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more of the major life activities of the individual, regarded or with a record of such impairment”1

Because it will take a considerable amount of staff time to take the orders, do the shopping, and make the deliveries, we will require that those using the program be current members or will become a member after their first delivery.  No other discounts (including the senior discount) will apply.   Orders must be a minimum of $20, and payments will be made either by credit card or food stamps over the phone, or cash or personal check upon delivery. We ask that those using this service have a fairly complete shopping list together before they call, if there are questions on prices and availability we will take note and call back with answers.  We will distribute flyers for our sale items, as well as a general price list of selected items upon request.

To start out we will service the area between Overland Trail and Lemay, south of Vine Drive and north of Prospect.
